To my knowledge I have only read one book that also has a movie. Last year for a class I read The Great Gatsby. I actually really liked this book and wanted to watch the movie. I watched two different movies about this book and both were so much different. The book had great details about little things and the movies seemed to not have that. The producers of the movies had excellent ideas for the settings and characters but both were drastically different. I think it's amazing to see how different people interpret the book and make it their own.
In my opinion I liked the movies better. It helped me visualize some of the things I wouldn't understand if I had just read the book. I also love watching movies.
