Reading
I did not like reading for a very long time. I would always forget the sentences I read or what the book was even about. But when I was an 8th grader I found a book called A Child Called "It". This book really intrigued me so I checked it out and read it. Dave Pelzer helped me enjoy reading. I enjoy reading books about emotions and how people feel about situations. They help me be a better person by focusing on the good things in a situation. For example Dave Pelzer writes about all of him experiences but yet makes it so positive, like what he learned from the situation. This helps me shape problems I am facing into small experiences that grow me as a person instead of making it a negative thing. I also like reading because it helps me see the little things in life. Everything we do is so important and reading different plots and stories helps us understand how we are as people. The different experiences we read in books can help us with real world experiences and how to go around them.
